Zupagrafika "Kiosk" — product description "Kiosk: The Last Modernist Booths Across Central and Eastern Europe" is the latest publication from Zupagrafika, a visual documentation of the small-scale architecture that defined the urban landscape of the former Eastern Bloc and Yugoslavia. The book focuses on mass-produced modular structures from the 1970s to 1990s, such as the legendary Slovenian K67 the so-called "Jugokiosk" , the Polish Kami, and the Soviet "Batyskaf." For decades, these colorful structures served as kiosks, currency exchange offices, flower shops, and gatehouses. On 208 pages, authors David Navarro and Martyna Sobecka present over 150 photographs taken over the past decade—from Warsaw to Berlin and Belgrade. The book chronicles the fate of these icons of modernism: from restored gems to abandoned relics of the past.
